Adult Social Service/ Independent Living Program

Adults:

Services to adults that are not seeking or retaining employment and would like to increase and/or maintain their level of independence in the home or community.

• Assessment, counseling, and guidance;
• Training in mobility, and daily living skills;
• Eye glasses and other adaptive equipment (based on Economic Need and Comparable Benefits);
• Certification of Legal Blindness - as relates to certain property exemptions or allowable IRS deductions;
• Information and referral to community resources and supports.
